Anna has run ProfitLinq, (originally named Profit Point Consulting) for 13 years, providing CFO, Controller and Accounting support for small and mid-sized companies. Whether that was advising them on strategic initiatives or having the team manage the day to day bookkeeping, ProfitLinq has helped companies that may have started at the kitchen table or more likely the dorm room, scale their financial systems, business savvy and accounting process to match the size and demands of their growing businesses.
Anna recognized the need to provide Blockchain and cryptocurrency companies with accounting and advisory services and sees the potential for the technology to change the way commerce is being done (not to mention it satisfies her inner technology geeky-ness).
She’s worked with a number of companies known for having the most highly respected finance departments (GE, Sprint and J&J) and holds a BS in Marketing/Finance from Manhattan College and an MBA from NYU – Stern School of Business in Marketing and Management with a concentration in E-commerce. Anna also received a Blockchain certificate from MIT and was nominated as a NJ top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneur award.
For fun she loves rowing, doing therapy visits with her dog, shuttling her kids to their various sports and cheering on her nationally-ranked triathlete husband. She is mom to two teens, a total podcast/Audible junkie and has two escape-artist pups Charlie and Gypsy.
Mel joined Profitlinq in 2019 and brings a combination of strategic planning, financial acumen, and operational skills honed through more than 20 years of experience as a CFO and COO to Blockchain, professional service and tech related businesses, all in service of helping them deliver profitable growth.
Mel earned her CPA while at EY, a Big 4 global accounting firm and moved to privately held entrepreneurial companies where she knew she’d have a greater impact. Her passion is in helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals and is rooted in the philosophy that success is achieved by having the right financial system in place to deliver timely, strategic insights that empower the entrepreneur’s ability to confidently make key business decisions.
Mel holds a CPA license from the State of NY, an Accounting for Blockchain certification from the AICPA, and has a B.B.A. from Pace University.
For fun, Mel loves a good DIY project, especially if it involves a power tool and is equally happy that her landscape architect partner loves to garden at their home because she doesn’t. Netflix binging is a must when her daughter is home from college and Mel is always wondering what the next show will be that gets her hooked. She’s a prolific podcast listener and admits she’s yet to find the one that explains why her dogs like longer walks when it’s below freezing than in the warm summer months.
